Turkiye – Malaysia Trade Delegation 2023

The official Turkiye – Malaysia Trade Delegation & Business to Business Matchmaking was successfully held on the 13th of March 2023 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Asia Events Group Malaysia team showed true dedication and focus to ensure key Malaysian importers, distributors and big buyer brands could attend and meet with top exporting brands and suppliers from Turkiye. With 114 Attending companies, Over 300 B2B matched meetings, 7 attending industry associations along with the support of the Malaysian Ministry of Trade & Industry (MITI), the event buzzed with positive energy as trade relations between the two countries reinforced in great strength.

After an exciting and inspiring opening ceremony & key addresses that featured Mr. Muhammad Ozuturk (Head of Delegation, Agean Exporters Association), Mr. Hairil Yahri Yaacob (Deputy Secretary General MITI) and His Excellency Emir Salim Yuksel(Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Malaysia) concluded, highlights of the event included the B2B networking sessions and meetings between Turkish & Vietnam Companies where 114 multi-industry buyer companies were brought together with the 19 brands from Turkiye, as well as networking sessions with key visiting organizations such as the Ministry of Health, MATRADE, The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, SME Corp, Semanta, Perdasama, PUNB, ACCCI and the Halal Development Corporation, successfully concluding the official Malaysia trade mission organized by the Ministry of Trade Turkiye, The Agean Exporters Association (EIB), the Turkish Exporters Assembly(TIM) and Asia Events Group.
