Agri Food Exporters India – Malaysia 2023

Held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 23, 2023, the official India-Malaysia Trade Delegation and Business-to-Business Matchmaking took place successfully.

To ensure that important Malaysian importers, distributors, and big buyer brands could attend and interact with leading Indian exporting brands and suppliers, the Asia Events Group Malaysia team demonstrated true dedication and focus. With 116 Attending companies, Over 300 B2B matched meetings, 9 attending industry associations along with the support of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) & Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS), the event buzzed with positive energy as trade relations between the two countries reinforced in great strength.

After an exciting and inspiring opening ceremony & key addresses that featured Dr. Ajay Sahai (Director General & CEO, The Federation of Indian Export Organization), Mr. Mohit Hans (Deputy Director, FIEO), His Excellency Mr. B.N. Reddy (High Commissioner of Indian to Malaysia), Mr. Jai Shankar (Director at MATRADE) and (Deputy Secretary General MITI), Mr. Anand Kumar (CEO of IIBM) and Mr. Nivas Ragavan (President of KLSICCI) concluded, highlights of the event included the B2B networking sessions and meetings between Indian & Malaysian Companies where 116 multi-industry buyer companies were brought together with the 30 brands from India, as well as networking sessions with key visiting organizations such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, MATRADE, PRIMAS, SME Corp,Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, KICCI, KLSICCI, MRCA, MAICCI, MASSCI, Semanta, and Perdasama, successfully concluding the official Malaysia trade mission organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organization (FIEO), High Commission of Indian to Malaysia and Asia Events Group.
