The official Türkiye and Malaysia Automotive Trade Delegation and B2B Meetings took place successfully on March 4, 2024, at the JW Marriot Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The Asia Events Group Malaysia team demonstrated exceptional dedication and focus to ensure the participation of significant Malaysian importers, distributors, and major buyer brands alongside leading Turkish exporting brands and suppliers. Their efforts led to the attendance of 72 companies at the event, showcasing their commitment to fostering connections within the import and export industry.

During the event, both countries strengthened their trade relations with support from various organizations such as Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), Malaysian Automotive Component Parts Manufacturers (MACPMA), Malaysian Vehicle Repair and Painting Industry Owners Association (PAINTM), Malaysian Rubber Products Manufacturers’ Association (MRPMA), Malaysia Used Vehicle Autoparts Traders Association (MUVATA), Malaysian Haulier Association, Heavy Vehicle Association Malaysia, and The Selangor And FederalTerritory Engineering And Motor Parts Traders Association (EMPTA). Over 200 successful B2B meetings were facilitated, enhancing business interactions between key players in the automotive sector.

The opening ceremony of the Türkiye and Malaysia Automotive Trade Delegation and B2B Meetings was vibrant and engaging. Notable speeches were delivered by distinguished individuals including His Excellency Emir Salim Yuksel (Ambassador of Turkiye in Malaysia), Mr. Azrul Reza Aziz (CEO of MARii), Ts. Siti Maisarah Mohd Pisal (Senior Manager of Strategic Research and Policy Development of MARii), Mr. Zamani Mat Zain (Manager of Export Promotion & Market Access Division of MATRADE), and Mr. Gokhan Tuncdoken (Board Member of OIB).
